Non-negotiable rules

No outcome matters more than freedom, consent and control.

In danger, contact emergency services first

Matea does not replace the police, a bank, platform, doctor or emergency responder.

Screening is not a guarantee

A document, video call or public profile may reduce uncertainty; none removes risk.

Money never purchases consent

A gift, ticket or transfer creates no duty to meet, travel or continue a relationship.

The team may stop a workflow

Where there is danger, doubt about age, fraud or account compromise, safety overrides the commercial step.

01

Immediate danger

If there is a threat of violence, unlawful confinement, stalking, blackmail, disclosure of intimate material, account takeover or theft of money:

  1. stop the conversation or transaction if it is safe to do so;
  2. contact local emergency services or law enforcement;
  3. contact the bank, payment provider or platform through an official channel only;
  4. tell a trusted person where you are; and
  5. notify Matea if doing so does not increase the danger.
Do not wait for Matea in an emergency. The team may help organise records and stop its internal workflow, but it does not provide physical protection or guarantee any third party’s response.
02

Adults only and limits of screening

The service is strictly for adults. Any uncertainty about age requires an immediate pause until appropriate confirmation. Matea must not be used for communication, meetings, content or transactions involving a minor.

Screening may use information provided, public sources, platform signals, a video call and specialist providers. The result is always limited to the named source, date and method. It does not guarantee identity, character, marital status, criminal history, solvency or safety.

03

Consent, autonomy and boundaries

Consent must be voluntary, informed, specific and current, and may be withdrawn. Consent to message is not consent to call; a call is not consent to meet; a meeting is not consent to travel, intimacy, recording, a gift, transfer or relationship.

A client may stop a conversation, meeting or trip without giving a reason. Pressure, repeat contact after a clear refusal, stalking, threats, doxxing, control through money, sexual coercion and retaliation are prohibited. Status, gifts and expenses never reduce anyone’s right to say no.

04

Accounts, credentials and team access

Use unique passwords, multi-factor authentication and protected recovery methods. Never send a password, one-time or recovery code, device unlock code, bank login, private key or unrestricted remote access through the application form or ordinary chat.

The client remains the account owner. Any authorised team access must comply with platform rules, be least-privilege, role-, purpose- and time-limited, logged where possible and revoked as soon as it is no longer needed. If compromise is suspected, revoke sessions, change credentials through the official interface and notify the platform.

05

The team, AI and authenticity

AI may support drafting, translation, classification, summarisation and inconsistency detection. A person reviews sensitive communications and higher-risk decisions. AI output can be wrong and is not verified fact.

Undisclosed deepfakes, cloned voices, synthetic intimate material and materially deceptive identities are prohibited. Matea does not conceal the operator or impersonate the client in a way prohibited by law, the platform or the written operating instruction.

06

Calls, in-person meetings and travel

Before a first meeting, a live video call and independent consistency check are sensible. Meet first in a busy public place; tell a trusted person the location and expected return time; keep your own communications, money and transport; do not surrender documents or devices.

Before travel, independently confirm tickets, accommodation, address, entry rules, insurance, return arrangements and emergency contacts. Keep control of your passport, booking and ability to leave. Do not travel where the host, address, funding source or return conditions are unclear.

07

Money, gifts and financial integrity

Third-party funds intended for the client must go directly to an account in the client’s name and control, or directly to a verified merchant for an approved purchase. Matea does not receive, hold, safeguard, split, convert, forward or refund those funds.

Do not give another person control of your account, card, crypto wallet or transaction approval. Never misstate the sender, recipient, purpose or source of money. If a transfer appears mistaken, fraudulent or disputed, do not forward it or return it by a different route — contact the receiving institution.

08

Fraud, money-mule activity and red flags

Pause and verify if someone:

  • avoids live video or repeatedly changes their biography, name, city or images;
  • moves quickly off-platform and demands secrecy;
  • urgently requests money for customs, medical care, a ticket, visa, investment, account release or cryptocurrency;
  • asks you to receive, cash, convert or forward money for them;
  • asks you to open an account, company, wallet or SIM card for their activity;
  • sends a cheque, transfer or “overpayment” and asks for part back through another method; or
  • uses guilt, fear of losing the relationship or a promise of unusual returns to force action.

Do not continue a transaction merely to test it. Preserve relevant references, contact the bank or platform through an official channel and notify Matea.

09

Harassment, exploitation and intimate material

Trafficking, sexual or labour exploitation, document confiscation, debt bondage, blackmail and control through accommodation, money or immigration status are prohibited. Any sign that a person cannot speak freely or control their documents and movement requires a pause and escalation.

Do not create, request, alter, retain, distribute or threaten to distribute intimate material without the depicted adult’s separate, explicit consent. Child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, covert recording and sextortion are prohibited and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

10

Reporting a concern and preserving evidence

A report should identify the platform, account name, date, concise facts and whether there is immediate danger. Do not send passwords, full bank access, unnecessary identity documents or intimate files without a specifically agreed protected channel.

Preserve original messages, URLs, usernames, timestamps, transaction references and platform notices. Do not hack an account, install spyware, gain covert device access or place yourself in danger to obtain evidence. Where appropriate, Matea may restrict internal access, stop automation and preserve relevant incident logs.

11

Suspension, refusal and escalation

Matea may immediately pause a person, channel, team access or the whole service where it reasonably suspects danger, a minor, coercion, exploitation, stalking, fraud, unlawful content, sanctions exposure, compromised credentials or a conflict with law or platform rules.

Where safe and lawful, the team explains the main reason and any review route. A deadline, expected revenue, paid service or client instruction does not override a safety hold.

12

Client responsibility, contact and updates

The client provides accurate information, controls her accounts and money, makes her own meeting and travel decisions, complies with law and platform rules, reports material risks promptly and never asks Matea to bypass a safeguard. Screening and support can reduce uncertainty, not eliminate it.

For a non-emergency concern, use the dedicated legal request form on this page. It is not a substitute for emergency services. These Standards may change to reflect new threats, law and platform requirements. Any higher protection in the individual agreement or mandatory law remains in place.

Version dated 22 July 2026. These Standards supplement the Terms of Service and individual agreement. In immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
